The teamDURHAM Street Veterinary Clinic is delighted to introduce Dr Kirsten Ingwersen as part of their friendly team, which is now able to offer after hours emergency care and a puppy pre-school. After two years in England and having recently finished a further education course in Small Animal Internal Medicine, Dr Ingwersen is proud to bring her veterinary skills to her home town. "As a vet I find one of the best things is seeing the bond people have with their pets and finding out what makes their animals special" she said. Her passion for animals includes a particular interest in “pocket pets such as rabbits, rats, mice and other special interest animals."

Besides offering a wide range of veterinary services including, pathology, X rays, surgery etc., together with specialist referral (where necessary), Durham Street Veterinary Clinic has the benefit of Dr. Billinghurst’s 35 years of veterinary experience and expertise. Dr. Billinghurst also supplies his own range of high quality pet food. Dr Billinghurst's Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (BARF) is perfect for Restoring Animal Wellness and is available for dogs and cats in an assortment of flavours. This unique food is designed to promote health and prevent disease. With no chemicals, no preservatives, no heat processing, no colouring and no fillers, BARF is ideal for helping to prevent and treat the whole spectrum of degenerative disease processes such as arthritis, diabetes and renal disease; many pets with cancer show marked improvement when switched to BARF.
